This animation is a very explanation of the sytem of the Berlin Wall so it was actually a system in some point more than just a wall.

Concept Movie Final

The idea of the Zone is something very interesting and particularly when it has to deal with the interactions of its inhabitants living in this environment. My film research looked into some Science Fiction and Psychological Drama films by director Andrei Tarkovsky that really brought up the idea of these two cities separated by a boundary and once the boundary is cross we encounter something unknown or even hostile. Also the psychological distortion of realities.

The idea of the third Orciny City in the novel The City & The City (China Mieville) also  makes me think of border city that it’s the link for the other two cities.
